Days and hours vary Monday-Sunday, paid biweekly, full time.SUMMARY: Prepares all menu items, adheres to plate presentations, andensures that all food prepared meets restaurant and brand standards ofexcellenDUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Maintain complete knowledge of and comply with all departmentalpolicies/service procedures ad standards Maintain complete knowledge of correct maintenance and use of equipment andkitchen tools. Use equipment only as intended Fulfills guests' needs, ensuring their stay is as pleasurable aspossible; anticipate guest's needs, respond promptly, and acknowledgeall guest Maintain positive guest relations at all times; be familiar with allhotel service/features and local attractions/activities to respond guestinquiries accurately Resolve guest complains, ensuring guest satisfaction Follows estimates received from the food production on productions charts asclosely as possible. Fills in production charts correctly on a daily basis Makes sure all food prepared is on time for the service kitchen and thecafeteria Maintains highest quality and appearance of all foods sent from kitchen.Make sure that all plates and platters are garnished appropriately andaccording to use records Complies with food safety regulations and best practices Monitor and maintain cleanliness, sanitation and organization of assignedwork areas Use correct cleaning chemicals for designated surfaces, according to OSHAregulations and hotel requirements At the end of each shift, clean, organize, and restock work areafollowing company and hotel brand standards Complete all steward functions as needed Follow proper keys control procedures in accordance to the policiesestablished by the hotel Performs other related duties as assigned by management.QUALIFICATIONS: Prior experience in food and beverage industry or equivalent preferred One to two years related experience or equivalent. Good judgment with the ability to make timely and sound decisions Must be able to speak, read, write, and understand the primarylanguage(s) used in the workplace.
