JOB REQUIREMENTS: Clean dishes, kitchen, food preparation equipment, or utensils. POSITION SUMMARY: Describes the general purpose of the job or why the job exists. To clean, sanitize and put away the dinnerware and equipment used during each shift to service our client and guests. Deep cleaning of the kitchen ceilings, walls, floor, floor grout (including under equipment). Deep cleaning of all kitchen equipment including exhaust hoods, sinks, ovens, drains etc. Proper removal of all recyclable items and refuse including but not restricted to boxes, cans, glass, and garbage. Responsible for hands on deep cleaning of assigned areas as outlined on the master cleaning schedule. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: List the principle on-going responsibilities that are necessary to accomplish the purpose of the job. a)Clean the turn out line. Including grills, stove, steamer, fryers, warmers, refrigerators and steam tables etc. b)Clean the staff beverage line (soda machine, coffee machine and ice tea machine). c)Clean refrigerators, walls, tables, racks, sinks (keep hand wash sinks stocked at all times with both paper towels and soap), floor mats and disposal area. Polish stainless steel. d)Clean ovens, hoods, filters, drains, and hot boxes, as well as other items, according to cleaning schedule or as assigned by the chef. e)Empty trash receptacles at the end of the shift. Wash out trash cans and return to kitchen with fresh liners. f)Empty trash receptacles from the pantry and evening lounge, wash and return it to the areas. g)Participate in the MSDS training. Follow all MSDS guidelines. h)Perform special projects and other responsibilities as assigned.
